Throwback: Pictures of Pastor Adeboye teaching President Buhari the Bible

A great leader is a man that is open-minded and by every means tends to bring people together and by this definition, we can boldly say that President Muhammadu Buhari is a great leader.

There is nobody that is without flaws. Show me a man without flaws and I will tell you he doesn’t exist. Having to rule a country that has so much history with corruption and the likes, would be an arduous task for anyone and he is doing a great job.

It is only normal that when you are faced with a near-death situation, you could do anything to get well, and since President Muhammadu Buhari is an open-minded man, Pastor E.A Adeboye visited him at London and prayed for him, and remember that Pastor Adeboye does not joke with his bible and as a man of God before praying he is supposed to go through one passage in the Bible so that God’s word can be authenticated.

When Pastor Adeboye left London, Buhari took to his twitter page and said this, and I quote:

“I thank Pastor Adeboye for visiting today, and for his prayers and good wishes. May God continue to bless him and his work.”

And this is the point that showed how different President Buhari is from Late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Why did I say this? Late Yar’Adua was told by Senator Anthony Agbo, who is the Abakaliki -Vice Chairman, Senate Committee for Federal Capital Territory, but due to his faith, I think, he didn’t go to meet him, and who knows what could have happened, God knows best.

This happened when Buhari was on medical vacation in London, and after the visit of Pastor Adeboye, he said there was a significant improvement in his health.

In the picture below, Buhari is seen with a book on his thighs that looks so much like the Bible, and you can also see Pastor E.A Adeboye pointing out things for him in the scripture.

We can only be grateful to God for extending the life of our dear President. It happened just like Hezekiah, our dear President’s life was extended by God and we must be grateful to God as people and as a Country. It doesn’t matter if you are a Muslim or Christian, in the eyes of God we are one.
