US-born pastor reveals Nigeria is his root as he lands in Nigeria for the first time

I think Nigeria has descendants in almost all the countries around the world because many people leave Nigeria annually to different countries searching for greener pastures. Many of these people start new families abroad and have children of subsequent generations who may not know their roots afterward.

One of the instructions for Christians in the bible is to go to nations around the world and preach the gospel. This is why US-born pastor, John Hannah, came to Nigeria to preach at The Covenant Nation’s program, the West African Faith Believers Convention.

Pastor John is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church Southeast in Chicago. He is 58 years old and when Pastor Poju Oyemade brought him up the pulpit, he said how much he was glad to be in Nigeria because, during the COVID-19 pandemic, he took a test that would reveal his root.

When the result came out, it revealed that 77% of his root was from West Africa and 44% showed that he is from Nigeria. He said he was very excited to be in Nigeria for the first time in 58 years, and it was an answer to his prayer.
