Evangelist Funmilayo Adebayo, popularly referred to as Mummy GO in an interview with BBC News Pidgin has opened up regarding the trending memes of hers on Social media. She disclosed that most of the videos shared online are edited just to ridicule her and tarnish her image.
The Evangelist revealed that those against her messages have been targeting her for more than eight years and since they can’t get her, they made use of social media. She stated that her messages were strictly about hell because Jesus is coming soon and she is directed to prepare people for the rapture.
According to her, those who want to find out more about her, should go to her Youtube channel and listen to her sermons, rather than believing the things they hear or see on Social Media. She disclosed that the viral memes on Social Media weren’t her wordings and that even if the devil becomes a pastor today, he wouldn’t preach such kind of message.
The renowned evangelist said she is not worried about the memes circulating online and that she doesn’t see anyone who followed the trend of circulating the memes online as an enemy. She feels that there is so much stress in the country and Nigerians always want to catch a cruise with almost everything to ease off stress.
