The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye shared a story of a man who left his dying wife in the hospital.
World-Religion believes the story was to admonish believers to be careful while choosing their life partner, and the unspeakable Power of God in the life of those who diligently seek the Face of the Lord.
According to Pastor Adeboye, the doctor told the husband that his wife has just less than an hour to live. Despite knowing his wife has less than an hour on the face of the Earth, the man went to the woman and pretended that he was greatly in love with her. He quickly told her that he wants to get something for her in the house, and left the hospital.
The man on his way home, called his girlfriend and said “Don’t mind that idiot, she is on her way out; come and let us rejoice”. The husband was already celebrating the wife’s death. But suddenly after everyone left the woman on the hospital bed, another doctor walked through the wall and said to the woman, “My daughter, they said you are finished but I am just starting with you”.
Immediately, the woman was healed. She discharged herself from the hospital and went home thinking she was going to give her husband a pleasant surprise, only to find him on bed with his girlfriend.
