What A Pastor Said After Boko Haram Slaughtered His New Born Twins – Pastor Adeboye

It is important that we are jealous of the things of God because it shows that we love him and appreciate all that is doing in our lives. However, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God advised his members to embrace this jealousy for God. He then told the story of a fellow pastor whose twins were killed by Boko Haram.

According to him, the pastor was serving in the northern part of Nigeria and Boko Haram went into his house when he was not at home. His wife had just given birth to a set of twins and they wanted to kill him because he was a Pastor who does not keep quiet. When they did not meet him at home, they decide to leave him a message by slaughtering the twins. His wife was in tremendous agony.

He said that when he heard about it, he told his son to come home because he paid the price and God knows that he loves Him. He replied, “Daddy, you were the one who taught us not to run from darkness, it is darkness that will run from light. I am staying here unless you compel me,” he said.

Finally, the man of God revealed that that is an act of jealousy. “In living or in dying, I am yours Oh Lord.”
