Pastor Mildred Okonkwo, wife to the Senior Pastor of David’s Christian Centre, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo who is fondly known as Pastor K, has revealed what she discovered after 17 year into her marriage. This was disclosed by a popular handle on YouTube minutes ago.
According to Pastor Mildred Kingsley Okonkwo, Before we got married, I never entered his room. We only stayed in his sitting room and gist, then later, we go out. After we got married, I finally entered his room and saw our bed room then, I was shocked to discover that more than half of his bed space was filled with books.
“Books from different Authors on one bed and when I asked him where he sleeps, I was shocked the more when I found out that he sleeps on the remaining part of the bed. I was afraid when I discovered this was the kind of man I married.
“His room was always scattered and as a new wife, I tried to maintain and keep everywhere clean. Funny enough, he will still scatter them again. We have gone through several marriage counselings but nothing happened.
“As I speak to you now, I am even more scattered than him. This 17 years experience made me to understand that God brings different people for a reason. You have to discover that reason in your relationship.
“Please ladies, you are a man’s helpmate. If you married a man that is very scattered in doing thing, complaining will not help. God expects two of you to be better than one. You are to keep loving him, don’t spend too much time fighting over things that are not important in relationship”.
