Oral Roberts, who was 75 years old at the time, was set to pass away, according to the man of God. “Tell God, I am a giver, but I’m about to donate everything in my account now and tell Him, I don’t want to die,” he told his wife after suffering a huge heart attack. Now, in our part of the globe, 75 is considered ancient, yet he refused to die at that age. He requested that his wife assist him “Tell God I’m a giver, but I’m emptying my bank account and releasing it for the cause of the Kingdom. I’d like to stay here for a long time.”
However, God gave him over 15 more years. He died at age 91, that is 16 more years by pulling the plug on his giving. This is a very important lesson we can learn from giving. It still works miracles.
