Pastor George Izunwa, the Lead Pastor of Gateway International Church sends an important message to singles in the church.
In the Video, he said that if you want your marriage to be amazing then you have to make spirituality and communication the Blood and life of your home. Spirituality should be the life and communication the blood and you have to make that real in your marriage. One of the first things you will find out after marriage is that you need your spirituality because there are challenges you face in marriage that you can’t take away by talking. A man comes from a background and his wife comes from another background which means that two different spirits from different backgrounds are agreeing against you.
According to him, there are altars, covenants and mysteries that both of you carried in. He said that that is why they advise couples to go for deliverance before they join them together on the altar. This will help them to separate from the altars of their backgrounds and to cut off from the things that are holding them. Unfortunately, people are in a hurry and they get married without performing it bringing together two different altars which solidify and start fighting them.
Further, he said it is time you understand that there are battles in marriage that cannot be rationally explained. You need spirituality to fight them.
