You Can’t Lockdown God, You can only lockdown People – Bishop David Oyedepo

The Presiding Bishop and Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo has make some powerful comments about the current Situation in Nigeria. The theme for the Month of August at Winners Chapel worldwide is “I am a Child of destiny” where most of the teachings will be based on “Prayers and Guiding of the Holyghost.

The bishop during the covenant hour of prayer on Monday morning said “You Can Only Lockdown People, You can’t Lockdown God.”

He said 6,000 churches out 10,000 churches of the 2020 prophetic agenda has been planted across Nigeria by the hand of God. He reads from 1 Kings 8:15 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which spake with his mouth unto David my father, and hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,

He said, in the midst of this lockdown, God did great & marvelous thing because God is the creator of the universe, therefore nothing is too hard for him.

He admonished believers to pray alot this month (For the Kingdom most importantly and needs of the people). He reads from Mathew 6:33 which says “but seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you”

And Ephesians 6:8

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

He further said believers shouldn’t forget reading the Bible frequently and following the leadings of the holy Spirit.
