THE STAGNANT WATER!!!
I remember that “Water stagnation” occurs when water stops flowing. When this happens, whatever that is thrown into such water remains, the water starts accumulating rubbish, heavy metals and harmful bacteria that sometimes causes fatal Legionnaires disease.
Do you know that a life that is not growing spiritually can also be like a stagnant water ????
A stagnant spiritual life is vulnerable to attacks of the devil, because whatever is thrown into a stagnant water stays , therefore a stagnant spiritual life will accommodate and retain every demonic deposit and satanic material, unlike a flowing river which will never retain any rubbish thrown into it.
A river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea, lake or another river.
bible says those who wait on the Lord will mount up with wings, they are expected to walk, run then soar (flowing river) , they are not expected to wait or stand or sit (stagnant water)
When you are not experiencing spiritual growth and development in your walk with God daily, you are like a stagnant water, when your prayer life and your meditation on the word of God is not experiencing regular growth, when after years of knowing Christ you are still praying 5mins daily and read bible only on Sundays or only pray and study the Bible when you are in trouble, then you are living a dangerous life of spiritual stagnation.
Make up ur mind today, ask for the grace, create time and desire to start growing, keep walking, keep running like a flowing river which is always clean and fresh because it never retain whatever thrown in it, when you choose to grow spirituality ur life will not retain arrows, demonic deposits and you will experience “Spiritual freshness”.
