Pastor David Ibiyeomie spoke to his members about different reasons why they should thank God. God has done a lot for us and we need to learn how to thank him. It is very important.
He said that one of the reasons why we should praise God is for the gift of life. He said that we can’t buy life with money as God is the giver of Life. He said that thanksgiving is a debt we owe God if we must live long and to stay alive we must thank him. According to him, when you’re ungrateful you cut your life span. He then advised them to thank God for the gift of life, because one thing money cannot buy is Life, you can’t buy life with money and If it is so, some people would have bought all and some will die.
Speaking further, he talked about a top politician who was supposed to be the President of Nigeria. He didn’t mention his name but the politician fought and fought to win the election and he won but he didn’t become the President. His first wife was diagnosed with cancer and he said any amount he will pay for her to live. They told him this is beyond that, money can’t solve this problem, they had the money but they can’t pay for life.
Finally, you slept last night woke up this morning, you just have to thank God. You’re talking about work, he said that it is when you’re alive that you will be talking about work because a deaf man cannot go to work. “Thank him for the gift of life, lift your right hand and say Father I thank you for the gift of Life in the name of Jesus,” he said.
