During Sunday schools and Bible studies, we were taught that the reason why Adam and Eve were sent away from the Garden of Eden was because of the fact that they ate a forbidden fruit which some people claimed to be an apple, while some said its an unknown fruit.
Teaching on “The Misunderstood God” Pastor Abel Damina made it known that Adam and Eve didn’t eat any fruit in the garden.
He said it wouldn’t have been possible for them to have sinned if they had eaten a fruit because Jesus Christ made it known that man can’t be defiled by what he eats but by what came out of his mind.
He said the tree in the book of Genesis was talking about men and that the sin of Adam was that he refused the gospel of Christ which was salvation.
He said Adam and Eve didn’t sin because they ate the fruit but because they rejected Christ.
