Preaching on faith in the online services of Salvation Ministries, the presiding pastor wondered why some pastors speak fear instead of faith.
He said a Reverend visited him in his office and brought forward his elbow to greet him.
He said: “I put my hands in my pocket and refused and I said to him Covid-19 can not stay around me.”
He said church is the hope of the common man and if the pastors now speak fear instead of faith that something is not right.
He said :the way some ministers analysed covid-19 this days, you will be forced to ask them of the faith they have been preaching.
“You don’t claimed you have faith until challenges come and you overcome, you will know that you have faith when jungle matured”

He said some church members will one day remind their pastor of how he acted in fear during covid-19 period when the whole thing is gone.
He said “after COVID-19 is over, we will know who is who.”
You don’t just memorize scriptures, you understand them. It is not by quoting scriptures, it is not head knowledge but understanding of the heart.
He said “nobody we prophesy faith for you, nobody will pray Faith for you, nobody will decree faith for you, you must consciously develop it.”
He charges the members of the church to develop their faith because challenges of life comes to every man but with faith in God’s Word, their Victory is certain.
He said: “when we say that we live in divine health doesn’t mean, we don’t see strange things, but we don’t allow strange things to remain”
He quoted Ephesians 6:16. He said: to take the shield of faith in this verse means responsibility.
At new birth God gave us all a measure of faith but what make the difference is that some develop their faith while some didn’t. He added.
He mentioned some levels of faith as No Faith Mark 4:40, Little Faith Matthew 6:30, Great Faith Matthew 8:10, 15:28 he said people at this level don’t wait for pastors to lay hands on them.
Lastly Strong Faith Romans 4:20 he said the people here stand on the integrity of God’s Word knowing that God speaks at his own level.
He therefore charged the members of the church to develop their faith to be able to take full delivery of all the blessings that God has Promise them.
I don’t know about you but I love pastors who teaches their members to grow.
