The Senior Pastor of Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Osayi while preaching in a video on YouTube some hours ago said that God will purposely leave people with some sicknesses so that they do not go too far away from God.
This is in line with what is written in 2Corinthians 12:7-9. According to these Bible verses, Paul had a thorn in his flesh which he besought the Lord to take away from him. Instead of healing Paul of his infirmity, God made His grace to be sufficient for Paul to carry on even with the infirmity.
According to the Cleric from the video, “A man that is consecrated unto God is weak in himself. Such a person will always say without God, he can do nothing. I know how I look when I am praying in the room, asking God to anoint me to go and represent Him. I know how incapable I am, all the symptoms of my stammering stare me in the face and I know I will not be a spectacle worthy to behold if God does not come down. So I stay in His presence. I have asked Him to heal me of stammering completely and He said His grace is sufficient unto me”.
Speaking further, the Cleric said God knows the best for us. “Is not everything God will heal you from, some things He will allow so that you can still crawl back to His chambers and ask for mercy”, Apostle Osayi said.
