Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries International spoke to his members about the need to eradicate selfishness and self-exaltation in their lives. He advised them to be selfless persons this year because we are in a generation where people are too conscious of themselves.
According to him, this is a nasty generation. “Somebody is brushing her mouth and she’s filming it. Somebody is eating and there is a camera filming the food. Who is interested?” he said. He then condemned those who take videos and selfies in the church during service because that is now how to worship God. They film their pastors, pastor’s wife, elders, their altar and expose their churches.
Speaking further, he said that when he stumbles into things like that, he asks himself, “What have this generation turned into?”. He said that in the past, for you to attack somebody, you have to go through a strong dibia for you to trace the person’s location and whereabouts. According to him, these days you don’t need Dibia because, from their actions, you know where next they’re traveling to; you know where next they are going to; you know their next plan.
Finally, he said that we like ourselves so much. He said that there are people that have left the church because he did not ordain them. Some of them want to be named Deacons and Deaconesses despite the fact that they have wicked hearts.
