In his view, as shared by the cleric, he thought that how could he abandon 99 sheep to go in search of one that was lost, and having found it, he carried it on his shoulder and rejoiced.

According to Apostle Johnson Suleman, the one that was lost should be seen as careless. Out of 100 sheep, it strayed off and got lost, while the rest followed their shepherd loyally and devotedly. But, how the holy spirit interpreted it to the cleric was different.

According to the cleric, as explained by the holy spirit to him, no matter how controversial the story might appear to be, the direct and correct interpretations reside with God.

The only sheep that was lost is very special hence the shepherd had to leave the whole 99 that were with him to search for it. This is because it is the leader of the whole flock.

On this, the cleric has revealed that God wants every believer to segment their lives. First, to seek the Lord to be saved for their salvation must come before every other thing.

Also, the shepherd carried the sheep on his shoulder, the scripture also has it in Isaiah 9:6 that, “the government shall be upon his shoulder”.

The lost sheep is the captain of the whole flock, it must not get lost. That was the major reason why it is important to leave the entire 99 to look for the only one that was lost.
