Bishop Oyedepo’s mentee, Bishop David Ibiyeomie, who also is the senior pastor of the Salvation Ministry, has revealed how he got his own revelation for success.

The man of God known for citing his life story as an example to edify his congregation has once more, in a post captured by church gist, used his life for a message.

“I heard my mentor, Bishop Oyedepo say “I can’t be poor”. So I got home and I declared too that I can’t be poor but poverty refused to leave. I just followed him to say it without revelation. So I told myself don’t just confess what somebody is confessing, go for your own light. So I went for my own revelation just like him and I got deep revelation in 1997 and I came out to say I can’t be poor and that was the last day I ever dealt with poverty.”
