Bowen University is one of the private University in Nigeria, it is owned and operated by Nigerian Baptist Convention and it is situated at Iwo in Osun State.
The private University had their convocation ceremony on the 7th of October 2020. On that day, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Joshua Ogunwole, announced that the best graduating students will be rewarded, he said out of the graduating students only three performed excellently, and they were awarded N1.3m.
The name of the three students are Emmanuel Adeleye, Aka Oghenevovwero and Oladepo Priscilla.
Aka Oghenevovwero and Oladepo Priscilla, finished with a CGPA of 4.86, and they we’re awarded with a sum of N500, 000 each, while Emmanuel Adeleye, finished with a CGPA of 4.85, and he was given a sum of N300, 000 as the third-best graduating student.
Aka Oghenevovwero and Oladepo Priscilla also received additional N400,000 and Emmanuel Adeleye received 200,000 from the parent forum of the institution.
