Faith Oyedepo, the wife of the General Overseer of Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has just revealed the only thing that a man can do to get his wife to submit to them.

Oyedepo’s Wife was addressing the popular misconception that women only need to submit to their husbands without the husbands doing anything. In fact, the Bible itself warns that women/wives should submit to their husbands.

But according to pastor Faith Oyedepo, the only way a wife would submit to her husband is if and when the husband respects her. That is to say that, if the husband does not respect his wife, the wife has a right not to submit to her husband.

Some persons have criticised the statement from pastor Faith Oyedepo, saying it is a deviation from the teachings of the Bible. According to them, the Bible only requires the wife to submit to her husband, without any of such requirement for the husband.

While others praised the woman of God for her statement, saying that she is right to let men understand that they have to respect their own wives, before they can expect their wives to submit to them.
