However, there are two things Oyedepo did to get to this height in ministry, that is why this article was written, to reveal these two things.

1. Oyedepo connected himself with great ministers of God early in ministry

Before Oyedepo ever became a popular minister, he was often seen around the top ministers of his day.

For instance, Oyedepo got connected with Arch-Bishop, the latter is believed to be one of the foremost Pentecostal preachers in Africa to date.

The relationship between Oyedepo and Idahosa was so strong that, in 1993, the latter came to dedicate LFC’s 3000-capacity cathedral called ‘Capernaum’, located in the Iyana-Ipaja axis of Lagos state. Oyedepo was only 39 at the time.

At some other point, Oyedepo shared how that God instructed him to go meet Adeboye, who was going to introduce him to the next phase of his ministry. According to Oyedepo, he obeyed the instruction and the ministry experienced a sudden shift.

Both Idahosa and Adeboye also owned universities, it, therefore, comes as no surprise to find out where Oyedepi got the inspiration to build universities

2. Oyedepo took steps of Faith

One of the steps of faith Oyedepo took was that he fasted and prayed when his ministry was not growing.

According to the cleric, the ministry was stagnated for a while, but after engaging in 3-days fasting and prayer, God showed Him what the problem was, and offered him the solution.
