Topic: Sacrifice of Praise
Text: Jeremiah 17:26

▪︎ People will come from all over the world to bring several things to God, one of which is sacrifice of praise.

▪︎ God will accept sacrifices of any type, but there is one most acceptable to Him- the sacrifice of praise.

° If you bring a sacrifice of money to God, He’ll accept it but remember that He doesn’t spend such in heaven. Haggai 2:8
° Sacrifice of food.
Do you want to bring food to Someone Who says the cattle of a thousand hills are His?
° Or you want to build a house for Someone in Whose house there are many mansions?

What do You bring to the God Who has everything?
• He dwells in praise. Psalm 23:3
• He has a mass choir of billions of angels that keep praising Him. Revelation 5: 11-14

• Thanksgiving is different from praise.

☆ Thanksgiving is appreciation for a miracle He did for you.
Exodus 14 & 15, Luke 17: 11-19

☆ When you thank God before He gives you a miracle, you please Him, because it shows that you have faith.
Joshua 6:20, Hebrews 11:6

☆ The kind of thanksgiving God loves the most is the one you give Him when you’re in the middle of a battle. Psalm 18: 1-3

• Praise is when you’re boasting about God. Matthew 21: 15-16

☆ My Father is the Highest;
He’s the Most High. Psalm 91:1, Ecclesiastes 5:8, Isaiah 66:1
☆ He’s greater than the greatest. Daniel 3:15, 4: 29-36
☆ My Father is the Oldest.
Daniel 7:9, Psalm 90: 1-7
☆ My Father is the Wisest.
Wisdom resides in and belongs to Him.
Job 12:13, Daniel 2: 20-22, 1 Kings 5:12
☆ My Father is the Richest.
Psalm 24:1, Haggai 2:8
☆ My Father is the Beginning of beginnings.
Genesis 1:1, Revelation 1:8, Jeremiah 1: 4-5
☆ My Father is the Omega.
Revelation 1:11
☆ My Father is unchanging, but can change anything.
Hebrews 13:8
☆ My Father is coming back, and quickly. Revelation 22: 11-12

Salvation Call
You can’t offer sacrifices to God if you’re not His child.

If you want to give your life to Jesus, cry unto Him for mercy. Ask Him to forgive all your sins, wash you clean, and save your soul.
