“Did you know it was Sammie Okposo That Did Some Movies Theme Song” – Nigerian Veteran Actor Sam Dede Reveals as he Pays Tribute to The Late Gospel Artist

Few days after the shocking death of Nigerian gospel singer Sammie Okposo veteran Nollywood actor Sam Dede has come to reveal some shocking involvement of the late singer in the Nollywood industry.

According to the actor he said Sammie Okposo was the voice behind most Nollowood movies theme songs. Sam Dede made this know in a health melting tribute he wrote to the late singer.

He wrote: “Did you know it was the very soulful Sammie Okposo who did that hair raising theme song and sound track for us in that game changing movie ISSAKABA? yes indeed.

The song or chant which was chorused “ISSAKABA OWE YAH” “ISSAKABA OWE YAH.” He said Sammie was the voice behind many theme songs of Nollywood films back in those good old days.

Sam called him an exceptionally talented, respectful and good natured fellow, before he then said: “The mic is switched off now but his soulful voice and good music remains with us.
