“Don’t Attend Any Service You Did Not Pray For” – Bishop David Oyedepo Reveals Why

One of our roles as believers, is to offer spiritual sacrifices to God. You know, God has ordained us as his priests, and spiritual sacrifices are part of our priestly assignment. One way we can offer spiritual sacrifices is by prayers. The Bible is full of examples of people who served God witb their prayers, for example, Anna the widow, Daniel who prayed for the people of Judah, and Moses who interceded for the Israelites after they had sinned against God.

Bishop David Oyedepo has said that believers should always pray for the service they are about to attend. In fact, he said it is not right to attend a service you did not pray for.

He revealed that the Bible says that the husbandman that labours will always be the person to partake of the blessings first. So if you labour in prayers for the service, you will be the first to partake of the blessings of the service.

He said that praying for the service, especially praying for multitudes to come, God’s people to be blessed and souls to be saved is touching the soul of God. After all, you had special needs you could have prayed for, but you chose to abandon those needs and pray for other things.
