In this Dunamis Pastor Paul Enenche’s message, he addresses comedians, lawyers, medical doctors and others in general on why it is dangerous to lie for any reason at all. He points out that christians must avoid all forms of lies including those that appear professional and in line with their careers. He further adviced those who have certificates that is not theirs to redress their steps. Read below:
There are those who crack jokes to make people laugh. I tell them, you don’t need to lie to make people laugh. There are many genuine stories that are humorous enough to tell without fabricating things. You may think you understand the lie but God does not understand it. God is truthful and He has zero allowance for lies.
If your work is to argue for people in court, don’t use lies to argue for them just because of money. One small boy made me laugh in my wife’s village at the crusade. After the people got healed, I said, ‘say the devil is a liar. He said “the devil is a lawyer.”
Medical doctors, don’t give false dates of birth, false medical reports to anybody. Don’t let any form of pressure make you to write a report that is untrue. It’s professionally wrong. There are people who get all manner of reports that are false/untrue.
Live in the consciousness of the eternal outcome of lying: Be conscious that hell is the eternal destination for all liars. Don’t let any profession turn you into a liar. Don’t make lying for your boss to be an assignment. If you must say what he said, the only way to say it and not lie is, “he said I should tell you he is not around”.
Never get used to lying: confess promptly and receive forgiveness any time you noticed that you have exaggerated or you have been dishonest or you lied.
The repetition of the wrong action is the consolidation of the wrong character. The easiest way to have a character that is wrong is to repeatedly do the wrong things.

Those who suffer the most in most careers are those who are crooked. God Himself frustrate liars because He is the God of truth. If you have a certificate that is a lie, you will go before God today and redress your steps, and if possible retrace your steps.
One young man met me and said he came into our workforce, he had a degree but the degree wasn’t correct. I said you know what we are going to do? I said, retrieve the degree certificate and return to OND which was the neatest certificate he had back then. So your degree is canceled. Now go ahead and get a new degree. It didn’t cost him his job, it didn’t cost him anything because he came on the platform of truth.
One man went to His boss in the office and he said, “I want to say that the certificate I used to get this job is not correct, please I want to resign”. And the boss said, “who will let a person like you go, how many people are as truthful as you? We won’t release you”.
Lies guarantee eternity in hell : If God is truth and the devil is the father of lies. It is normal to expect that liars will spend their eternal holiday with their father the devil. Now, you didn’t kill a person, you didn’t commit adultery. The only thing you did, you used the wrong certificate, you didn’t repent out of it. All liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. God will help us out of that in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Liars who are men but changed to women, and those who are women but changed into men will spend their eternal holiday with their father the devil in hell fire.
There are those who lie small and there are those when they say stand, be going. There are those, even inside the church when they say good afternoon, check the watch because it may not be afternoon. There are some, nothing is true about them including their name. There are some, the only thing that is true about them is that nothing is true. The only thing that is consistent is that they are inconsistent.
Make pleasing God the major objective of your life, not pleasing men or pleasing people: there are people who struggle to please people and they go to any extent to tell lies. Avoid excessive talk: Wise people talk minimally and once they talk they set you thinking. Be filled with the Word of God. Be filled with the Spirit. Overcome lying spirits by the Blood of the Lamb.
