Pastor Joshua Selman at Koinonia on ‘Complete Deliverance Part Two’, highlighted the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible. He asked if the eyes of Adam “opened” to know that he was naked immediately after eating the fruit, why didn’t Eve’s eyes “open” when she was the first person to eat the fruit.
The Pastor noted that women fall because of deception and men fall because of love. He added that Ada was not deceived but Adam followed Eve because of the love he had for her.
Pastor Joshua Selman: “The woman did not fall by eating the fruit; eating the fruit was a proof that she had fallen. When she ate the fruit, there was no effect on her. It was when Adam ate it that their eyes opened to know they were actually naked. Do you know why?
“This is because the sheep only scatters when you strike the shepherd. The way God created the spirit of a man; the spirit was supposed to have the highest level of ascendance in direct touch with the Spirit of God”.
