Here is Pastor Sam Adeyemi 20 years ago, looking Slim, hungry and like someone who has fasted for 40 days. In this photo, he was invited to a campus meeting as a guest minister for VHF (Vessels of Honour Foundation), a Bible-based network of Campus Ministries … In front of him was the then famous Capel wine and Five Alive juice drink.
20 years ago, Five Alive drink was for the upper class, serving it on campus then simply means he was an important guest minister. Apple is sighted on one side of the table, and I can see fried chicken too alongside jollof rice being devoured by Pst Sam Adeyemi.
Despise not the days of little beginning guys; where you are right now may not make sense, but I believe your tomorrow is so great. Forget about what people think about you, the question is what do you think about yourself?
20 years after, Pastor Sam Adeyemi is now a Strategic Leadership Expert, Doctor of Strategic Leadership and the Senior Pastor of Day Star Christian Center in Lagos.
