The General Superintendent Of The Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor WF Kumuyi has cancelled the six days global crusade scheduled to be held in Abia State this week.
According to reports, the cleric cancelled the crusade following the current security challenges in the South-East Geopolitical Zone which are appalling. This move is coming after the IPOB publicity and media personnel, Emma Powerful, warned the pastor to avoid coming to that region to prevent any mishaps during the program.
“Let him (Pastor Kumuyi) and the organizers of the crusade ensure that nothing happens. The security of this region is not good because of political and criminal activities. We (IPOB), therefore, advise him to stop this crusade for security reasons” he said
He also added that IPOB will not allow anyone to die because of this program but the probability of some criminals operating as unknown gunmen causing havoc in the crusade is high and any accident will be blamed on the group.
