The Gospel Music Legend, Minister Don Moen celebrates his father on his official social media page as he clocks 97 years of age today.

The excited son, Don Moen shares beautiful pictures of his dad as he tells the story of how his grandmother gave birth to his father 97 years ago. In his words he said, his grandmother went into about, hooked up the sliegh to her horse, and raveled 6 miles in a snowstorm to the hospital while his grandfather was away working.

97 years ago today, my grandmother went into labor, hooked up the sleigh to her horse, and traveled 6 miles in a snowstorm to the hospital (my grandfather was away working). She gave birth to my dad. I’m blessed to be in Minnesota this week to celebrate his birthday with my family.
