The issue of Dreams is not what we should take with levity. Dreams are highly personal and it is significant to the individual dreaming them. Many don’t know that dreams do have psychological significance and they may often be an unconscious reflection of our internal anxieties, fears, desires, hopes and fantasies.

What are your findings about the importance of Dreams?

I discovered that the subject of dreams is not even properly embraced yet. This is the medium that God has chosen to speak to us. The Bible says “If there is a prophet in your midst; I, God will speak to him in dreams, in vision”. He said, “I will speak to him, not like Moses but I will speak in dreams, vision for Moses I speak to him in plain language”. God has made up his mind to talk to us in the dream. That is why you will discover that every man dreams. You may not remember your dreams but every man dream dreams. So, it is important for us to take our dream life seriously. I have discovered also the reason why in this generation we have lots of nightmares or what they call a satanic dream, it’s because we are not taking our dreams seriously. Dreams are like seeds. When a dream comes it is shown into your life. If it is a good dream you must nurture it and make sure that it bears fruit in your life. Unfortunately, bad dreams are like the seed that you don’t sow, they are like weeds. You don’t grow weeds, you don’t nurture them but they grow all the same.

Bad dreams are similar to weeds in our life. They grow in our lives because we do not pay attention to our dream-life. Life is a vacuum, If you don’t do anything somebody will occupy it. So, you need to do something. If you are not taking charge of your dream life the enemy hijacks it and begins to manipulate it.

Can you shed more light on positive dreams and negative dreams, is it also possible for one to position himself for positive dreams?

It’s very possible to position yourself for positive dreams. You and I were spirit, we have a soul, we live in a body. God is a spirit and He communes with us in the spirit. So, where it starts from is to make up your mind, that you are going to take your dream-life seriously. You are telling God to engage you in the dream because you are ready to take it seriously, and God will hearken to that. Negative dreams are dreams that enemies use to kill and to destroy. It is a way for enemies using the cover of darkness to attack people. We also know that you as a child of God, before you sleep, you pray to God to talk to you and arrest any power that wants to erase your dream. You also tell God to speak to you, that you are ready to follow His instruction then keep a diary beside you. By doing so, God knows that you are ready for engagement and he would engage you, then you begin to have positive, prophetic, the divine revelation and, instructional dreams, even dreams of warning.

You will begin to have such dreams that will be helpful to your life. So you can choose to have positive dreams. All it takes is preparing yourself, becoming receptive and creating an atmosphere for God.

Sometimes you can put on worship songs that will create an ambience of worship for your spirit, or you can put on powerful scriptures, positive proclamation and declaration of God’s word. As you sleep, meditate on them; with that, you have prepared an atmosphere for God to engage with you in your dream.

The devil cannot come to such an atmosphere, he knows what not to do. So it’s possible to have a positive, instructional and divine dreams. This period is also telling us to innovate, and one of the ways to innovate is through your dreams.

Innovation can come to you through your dream-life. Larry Page, the co-owner of Google was a student at Stanford University. He was having an agitation, he was doubting his admission. It was in the cause of this agitation he imagined how he can download the entire web to a small computer. He had a dream doing it, he woke up and went to do exactly what he saw himself doing in the dream and that was what gave birth to Google.

The google we are all using today came through innovation that was given to Larry Page in a dream. So, this is the time to pick innovation in our dreams. When we pray the right prayer, God will engage us and give us powerful instruction on how to do things better. He would even reveal secrets to us. The sewing machine that has become popular was discovered by Elias Owen in 1845, he had a dream that some people wanted to kill him, they arrested him and chained him to a train and they were poking him with a javelin, they told him he had to sew cloth for them to cover their body. He made several attempts to use pin but it wasn’t working.

While they were poking him, suddenly, it dawned on him that if there is a hole at the edge of the sphere they were using to poke him it will sew, then he woke up, did what he saw himself doing in the dream and he was able to birth sewing machine, and we are still using the sewing machine till date.

Those who engage in a bad dream, how can they tackle it?

We must take every dream serious even if they are bad dreams, we must take them seriously in order to arrest them. It’s very wrong to say dreams are foolish because dreams are not foolish. In fact, it’s only a foolish man that calls dream foolish because if it is from God, He is advising you, instructing you, admonishing you, warning you, and giving you gifts. So no dream is foolish. And if its satanic dream or a nightmare that means the devil has come to kill, steal and destroy so we take them seriously. You need to understand your dream and know how to interpret it. The reason why we don’t know what to do about our dream is because we don’t know how to interpret them. But for me, it’s very simple. If it is God that gave you the dream ask Him, “God what is the meaning of this dream then meditate, become sober and Holy Spirit will tell you the meaning of that dream. If it is a negative dream ask Him again, He will tell you.

There are so many negative dreams we need to pray about; if wide animals always run after you in the dream you need to pray. If you always see coffin and dead relatives, if you always see yourself in the mortuary or graveyard. Those who always bleeding in their dreams. Those who dream of snakebite, scorpion bite etc or a crocodile swallowed them, they need to pray. Those who always see themselves drinking and eating. Those who always dream of somebody summoning them or judging them. Those who always dream of bed-wetting, they need to pray.

Those who receive gunshot or carrying a load in their dream. Those who dream that they are sick in their dream or they injected them. Those who write exams in their dream should pray very well because all these are demonic and negative dreams.
