Evangelist Ceecee Oniya (popularly known as Oyinbo Yoruba) has revealed how God gifted her the ability to read the Holy Bible in the Yoruba language after she had a series of dreams. Evangelist Ceecee shared her story during a recent interview with Asabe TV.
Christians have often emphasized that the Lord works in mysterious ways. Ceecee Oniya recently narrated how she miraculously married a Yoruba man who has assisted in accomplishing God’s plans for her life.
Narrating her story, Ceecee Oniya said, “My husband and I are Christians, and my husband is a pianist who performs through God’s anointing. I had the same dream each day for two months. I was in the midst of only black people in my dream, and it was a crowd. I discovered that this dream meant I was destined to visit a foreign country. The said dream stopped, and I had another dream about reading the Holy Bible in a different language. In the second dream, I wondered what language I was reading through. I told my husband about my dreams, and we decided to try reading the Yoruba Bible. During my first attempt at reading a Yoruba Bible, I successfully read the word ‘jade’ in Yoruba. The incident surprised my husband. My husband gradually taught me how to read the Yoruba language.”
Narrating further, Ceecee Oniya added, “I started singing and worshipping in Yoruba Churches. Sometimes, they would invite me to read a Bible passage in the Yoruba language, and later change the passage to test me. I always passed such tests.”
