Bishop David Oyedepo spoke to his members at the church headquarters located in Ota, Ogun State. He urged them to serve God wholeheartedly and pointed out that in the natural world, a man or woman is either a worker or a beggar, depending on how such a person positions himself or herself as well as what he or she chooses. He said as a believer, it’s your service to God that adds value to your life and your membership in church.
The revered man of God further revealed that everything in life works by working. I believe he means that without working on what needs to be worked upon, one will not get the result that one desires to get.
The respected man of God said that there is enough space for every believer who decides to serve God, and that only those who genuinely work for God are rewarded by him, because there is always a harvest season of glory.
He pointed out the case of a lady who served God even though she lost her job while working for the interest of the kingdom. God later rewarded her with a better job. She was made the managing director of a large company.
He also recalled the case of another brother who also engaged himself by serving God in the distribution and sharing of tracts and flyers, and did so by walking over a long distance to share the gospel with people. God also rewarded him, and he was blessed to the point that he could give a six-digit tithe every week.
