Clapping For God In Church Is Wrong, It Is A Form Of Mockery - Pastor Abel Damina Reveals Why

A humble man, he shared openly his personal deliverance from financial hardship 14 years after he was called into the Deliverance Ministry and how international doors opened up for the Ministry from a simple prayer by an older Pastor, though he first doubted the efficacy because he expected a longer prayer. According to him, “I travelled over 400 km to meet this man of God who was then about 70 years. When I got to him, he laughed and wondered what kind of deliverance I needed. He later agreed to pray along with me. He did. It was a simple prayer for my wife and me. We thanked him and left the place. But I was not happy. I thought he would hold at least a three-hour prayer with me. As I was ruminating on this, the Holy Spirit spoke to me and asked whether what I wanted is long prayers or answered prayers. I told him I wanted answered prayers. And that was it.”
From receiving approximately N25 as honorarium, his financial level skyrocketed to a multiple fold increase.
“Few days after that encounter, I was invited to minister in a church in Lagos and the honorarium I got was mind boggling. I carried the money with my two hands. That was the first time I would get such. Few days after, somebody wrote a cheque of N500, 000 for our Ministry. That had never happened before.” – Reverend G.F Oyor.

He answered the triumphant homegoing call on 7th August 2020, with most people expressing shock and unbelief since he had just recently celebrated his 61st Birthday among family and friends. Tributes has been flowing from lives that have been transformed by the healing and deliverance power God worked through Daddy Oyor, just like Paul in the Bible as follows:

“Bro Gomba Oyor was the National Travelling Secretary of SCM for many years when he normally came to speak to us at SCM Fellowship, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife and other campuses in Nigeria especially during the inauguration of the “Stewards ” every year in the Eighties and up to the Nineties.

He was very passionate, committed, loving and dedicated to the Kingdom of God. He inspired and motivated generations of young Christians in secondary schools and universities across Nigeria for many decades. Those Christians are all over the world doing exploits for the Lord.” – Sola Odewabi.

“Daddy G.F Oyor. You were such a great Healing and Deliverance Minister. Your books have influenced my Ministry so much. When I pick them up and teach from them; fire always fall from Heaven upon the kingdom of darkness. I will forever miss you sir. But we your disciples will continue from where you retired sir. See you in Heaven. Good night Daddy. Great Apostle of Healings and Deliverance…” – Apostle Aaron Muraina.

“It was with shock that I received the news of your transition. Although I never met you in person, I had been blessed by reading one of your books and through the blessings some of my friends got in your programmes in Ibadan. For a life well lived in the service of God, one is only comforted by the fact that ‘to depart and be with Christ is far better’. Rest on sir. The Lord continue to bless your family, ministry and cause the seeds you sowed to continue to germinate
May his soul rest in peace. Adieu!” – Kolapo Abiodun

“Rev. Oyor prayed for me many years ago when l was trusting God for a life partner and seven days after his prayers, I met my husband. May his soul rest in perfect peace” – Margaret Doherty

Daddy Oyor got married to Reverend (Mrs) Patience Fortune Oyor on 7th September 1991 and next year would have been their 30th Wedding Anniversary. The union is blessed with 4 sons who are doing exploits for God: a set of identical twins; Barristers Lawrence and Godswill Oyor (popularly known as the Oyor twins), Michael Oyor and Wisdom Oyor.
In his words, “I take my children along when they were younger and now they are also involved in the Ministry. A man of God should not joke with his family because if he fails in that area, he will ultimately fail in Ministry. So, my family members are wonderful and we are all together in the business of delivering lives from the shackles of the enemy.”

He will be laid to rest on 4th September 2020 in Ibadan, Oyo State. We love you Daddy, but God loves you most.
