Most people thought all Arabs are Muslims, but there are numerous number of Arab Christians believers settling right from North Africa region eastward to the Arab world. Here are some of their pictures protesting against persecution and recognition of their identity as Christian Arabs in Arab land.
The History of Arab Christians dates back to the time of Jesus Christ and his Disciples. Among some of those who believe in his message were Arabs who were majorly merchants as well as settlers who were settling in Israel during this period of history
After the death of Jesus Christ and the evangelization of the good news of Jesus, some of these Arab believers took the Gospel to their people settling in the middle East and beyond.
However, with the coming of Islam, the growth of this Christian Arabs was greatly reduced as a result of persecution and force to convert to Islam
Fortunating, this doesn’t mean the end of Christianity among Arabs, as today, thousands to millions of Arabs still identify themselves and their Churches as Arab Christians.
Without this research, I never knew that there are Arab Christians. What about you?
