Marriage is a legal institution created by God from the beginning. A man leaves his father and his mother and cleaves to his wife and they obey God’s instruction of multiplication. However, Pastor Felix Adejumo said in a message to the singles that marriage is something you enjoy and not endure.
While talking about things they should look at before marriage, she advised them to “marry someone that knows your fault and accepts you just as you are.” Prov. 17:17. She said that a true friend is someone that knows where you stink and yet he’s faithful. When you marry the wrong person then you will just have to endure without enjoying it. There will be less happiness in the house especially when the person is not born again.
However, if you want to enjoy your marriage, you need to be patient and plan well before going into it. Let God speak to you about his will and also get useful information from parents and relationship mentors. It is very important.
Finally, some people end up in the house marriage because of the things they see. They are deceived by sides and after marriage, they will be praying for the heart to endure and not the strength for more enjoyment.
