Before we get to meet Stephanie Henshaw, who happens to be an Ex – wife to the General Overseer of Household Of God Church International Ministries, Reverend Chris Okotie, let us briefly have a look at the biography of Reverend Chris Okotie.
ChrisOkotie whose full name is Christopher Oghenebrorie Okotie was given birth to on the 16th day of June, 1958. He is currently 62 years of age. Chris Okotie as he is fondly called was given birth to in Ethiope – West which is situated in Delta State. At the time of his birth, Ethiope – West was situated in Bendel State.
The name of Chris Okotie’s father is Francis Idje Okotie while his mother’s name is Cecilia Okotie.
While growing up, Chris Okotie had a strong passion for music. He would always be seen singing. Not much is known about the nursery and primary school, Chris Okotie attended.
Chris Okotie had his secondary school education at Edo College, situated in Benin City, Edo State. While he was a student of Edo College, he was part of the school’s Music Club. As a member of the music club, he had the opportunity to entertain a lot of people through music.
At no point in time did he commercialize his talent while he was in Edo College, Benin City.
Soon after Chris Okotie left secondary school, he gained admission into the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. His gaining admission into the university came with lots of challenges.
While he was in first year in the university, he lost his father to the cold hands of death. This brought about him abandoning his studies for a while as he could barely pay his fees.
Having dropped out of the university, Chris Okotie had to figure out a way to cater for his needs. This was the period in which he had commercialize his talent. He ventured into Pop Music which paved way for him, fetching him some cool cash.
Later on, he went back to the university to complete his education. In 1984, he was done with his Law pursuit in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka thereby obtaining an LL.B degree in Law upon graduation.
Upon graduation from the university, he proceeded to Law School. Whilst in Law School, his schooling was interrupted as well. It was at this point that he started off his ministry. Chris Okotie proceeded to Grace Fellowship Bible School, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There at Grace Fellowship Bible School, he was trained as a minister of the gospel. At the completion of his study in the Bible school, he established the Household of God Ministry, of which he is the General Overseer.
Asides having interest in music, he also likes jogging as well as martial arts.

Altogether, Chris Okotie had been married twice.
Not much is known about Stephanie Henshaw, her childhood, parentage and all. She came to spotlight as a result of her marriage with Reverend Chris Okotie.
Chris Okotie who happens to be a pastor of Household of God Church, as well as a one time former presidential candidate got married to Stephanie Henshaw, who is currently his ex – wife in the year 2008.
Stephanie Henshaw was a member of his church before their marriage.
The wedding ceremony was held on the 7th day of August, 2008 at the residence of the bride in Ikoyi, situated in Lagos State.
Subsequently, the court wedding took place a day later, on the 8th day of August, 2008. A thanksgiving service was held on the 10th day of August, 2008 to thank God for a successful wedding ceremony.

The marriage was short lived as it didn’t last for a long period of time. The marriage hit the rock after four years.
He parted ways with his second wife, Stephanie Henshaw in the year 2012.

In the year 2012, Chris Okotie had disclosed to the public via his church’s Director of Media and Communication Strategy, Ladi Ayodeji that he doesn’t have any intentions whatsoever to get married again after his divorce with Stephanie Henshaw.
