Many times it is very hard for people to take a positive decisions in life due to the influence of peer pressure. Many people have also derailed from the right path as a result of the kind of association they keep. Unfortunately, many people have lost their future even their lives also as a result of the negative influence surrounding them. It is rare to see friends with positive impact driving away from their midst the negative impact in their circle, most of the negative influence surpasses the positive influence.
Reverend Fatoyinbo Biodun during his ministration at the upsurge Conference has revealed what his friend said to him, at the point when he was moving towards the way of the Lord. The friends he kept had a lot of impact on his life negatively, their influence made him love partying, drinking, and also going to club.
The minister said that during his early University days he was a novice when he got admission because he entered school at a very young age. This made him prey to the bad boys on campus as they influenced him so much and in his second year in school, he was already the leader of the bad gang in his University days. But all the same, God had a specific plan and purpose for his life amid his sinful state. God look beyond his lifestyle and behavior and kept on speaking to him directly.
He further revealed that while he was a leading member of the club, always went to night parties and was involved in dirty things. A voice kept calling his name and asking him what he was doing at the night parties. The voice kept speaking to him directly making him restless, he asked his friend if he heard the voice also. The friend told him he was not okay that something must be wrong with him, that is to say (you don high). His friend further warned him to focus on the pleasure and joy they derived.
