We have great men of God in Nigeria who predict outcomes of election, economic and financial crises, international happenings and even football matches e.t.c. Most of them are owners of local and international churches with great congregations. But the Lord chooses who he pleases to share what ever mystery of the world he wants to share with that person whether a great man of God or not.

After watching this video, I was humbled to the core because myself and most Nigerians have always overlooked what this man of God says. This particular man of God has always been seen as a controversial prophet who has a tongue that affects the way he talks and makes him sound funny at times. 

The year 2020 is indeed a unique year as it started in a sad note. The global pandemic struck the whole world and took great economies to a near crash level. Nigeria was not left out as the whole world hoped that all could be over pretty soon and everything would go back to normal. 

When everything started returning back to normal and borders were opened, then international and local flights started operations in and outside the country, we all thought everything was good and we were happy to resume work and places of worship were back again. Things were gradually coming back to normal before the ENDSARS protest started. 

Few weeks ago, nobody thought Nigeria would be in a mess like what she is in presently. Nobody thought there would be a massacre at lekki toll gate on the 20th of October 2020, Nobody knew that a protest would start and be high jacked by hoodlums to cause pains and possibly death of more citizens in Nigeria. Nobody knew that angered hoodlums would burn TV stations, banks and store houses, busses and cars of other individuals would be burnt, nobody but one. 

The only man who saw this coming before it came was Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanemere who is porpularly known as Odumeje. He is the president and founder of the “Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Ministry Worldwide” A.K.A (Land Of Freedom).

The prophet who has in recent times past been accused of turning religion into a social enterprise with large dose of entertainment, deliverance sessions which seem hilarious and many other funny video clips of his entrances into church services has made people wonder the kind of man of God he is. 

Truth is, whether genuine or not, there is absolutely no man that God cannot use to pass his message. 

You most likely might have come across this video but might neglect it because you thought there is nothing serious this man of God would have to offer and so we all neglected it. But here is what Odumeje said about everything that would happen in Nigeria in the year 2020. 

Just Incase you might watch the video and not understand what he would be saying, I’d like to write everything he said in the video so you could read even as you watch video.

He says; “This year is not a year of joke, it’s a year of fight. And listen to me, you should pray for Nigeria because, RIOT, RIOT,RIOT, RIOT, RIOT, CONFUSION EVERYWHERE. 

“This yeah is a year where party FIGHT party, trouble upon trouble, case upon case, Gun upon gun. 

“I see where they summoned CURFEW (restricted movements), and people ignored the CURFEW and come out to PROTEST what they want without even care.

“It is a year to be prayerful because this year, the confusion I’m seeing this year, have never been before since Nigeria began. I am telling you. TILL FREEDOM COME”.

This video was alleged to be a cross over night service of his church for the year 2019 to the early hours of 1 January 2020, where he was admonishing the church to be prayerful for the times ahead. 

This happens to be the most detailed prophecy if at all there was any other one about the present protest and chaos in Nigeria. 

He mentioned key things like deaths, fights, protest, ignoring curfew to protest (amazingly that’s the case we have right about now), and total confusion everywhere and all of these things are presently happening. The word of God says; “heaven and Earth shall pass away but my word shall never”. If God said it, then it must come to pass. 

To think that this is a man we don’t take seriously is what is disturbing me now more than anything. It goes to tell us how big and mighty our God is and how he chooses to use just anyone how best he pleases. 

There is nothing God does not reveal to us his children unless that sometimes we look too much at the vessel and down grade them instead of to focus on the message, we focus on the messenger. 

Yes his ways of doing things might be different from what we agree with, but does it mean it should affect the way we look at him? Some people even drew conclusions about Odumeje being a false prophet.

Morris Monye expresses his shock to this video and here is what he has to say; “A prophet we laughed at, if his words are anything to go by, then we have to buckle up”. 

Indeed we have to buckle up and return back to our altars to pray for Nigeria. We need to pray for our leaders and their ability to make good decisions to better the lives of Nigerian citizens. 

As Christians, we need to rise up and pray for our nation in it’s time of trouble and trials. That in the end of it all, God’s name alone would be glorify. 

Odumeji said these words long ago and it came to pass and still under fulfilment just as he had said them, if we had been prayerful allot, we would have understood those words when he said them and know what steps to take as Christians. It’s our responsibility to uphold our nation in our secret altars let’s not fail the second time.
