One of the reasons why many young ministers, called by God to service, would never amount to anything in life – Evang. Mike Bamiloye Reveals why

in a recent post on Facebook, Evangelist Mike Bamiloye spoke about ‘Waiting Patiently For The Lord’s Timing’ which is one of the secrets of David’s victorious life.

He read the book of 1 Samuel 26:23 which says, “The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness: for the LORD delivered thee into my hand today, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD’S anointed.” and explained one of the reasons why David was a man after God’s heart. He said that God tested David when he gave Saul to him to see what he would do to him, whether he would kill him to hasten himself to the throne or he would be patient and allow the Lord God to bring him to the throne in His own way and at His own time. He refrained from killing Saul.

According to the Cleric, one of the reasons why many young ministers, called by God to service, would never amount to anything in life, is because they killed their Father. The reason why many young pastors would run and never reach their destination is that when God tested them like He tested David, they stabbed their father in the back, thinking the action would hasten their promotion to the top, but they had been running in a circle and struggling on the spot for long.

He said that God anointed David truly, but God made him serve under Saul. He served under a harsh, envious and devilish mentor and leader, yet, the Bible says, David continually reverence Saul, calling him, “The Lord’s anointed.” You can not disrespect the Lord’s anointed father and STILL get to the throne.
