Before I proceed, I would like to point out that God appreciates and accept that we present our bodies to him as a holy offering first before any other gift because, unlike the man who looks on the outward appearance, God focus more on the heart( 1Samuel 16:7), and since God is love, he wants us to do everything according to his will.

According to Matthew 5:23, God commands that when you come before him to give your offering at the altar and remember that your brother or sister is having something against you like grievances or grudge, you should first go and make peace with him or her and after reconciliation, you can come and give your offering.

Matthew 5:9 lets us know that those who make peace will be blessed and will as well be called the children of God, and we know that when we give our offering to God, he blesses us in return and also answer our prayers, but failure to make peace with those whom we offend or that have a grudge against us will not make our offering acceptable and, likewise we won’t be blessed.

Therefore, when next you bring an offering to God, examine yourself to know if there are people especially God’s children who in one way or another have something against you that you might have done to offend them, and make peace with them before presenting your offering to God, and as you obey, the Lord God will accept you and give you his blessing.
