It was celebration galore as the President of Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation, Prophet Jeremiah donates the sum of four hundred million naira (#40,000,000) to Nigeria’s fallen heroes, defence and police officers’ wives during the weekend.
The money was given to 200 participants during Socio-Economic Development and Empowerment Training programme he organised for them. Each of the participants received 200,000 Naira cash as starter pack.
Prophet Omoto Fufeyin, who is a philanthropist stated on his official Facebook page that that he embarked on the project because he believes that Entrepreneurship is an imperative area that needs to be taken into consideration to lead to effective growth and development of Nigeria.
The event which took place at Mercy City had in attendance Her Excellency Aisha Buhari, the First Lady of the Federal republic of Nigeria Represented by DR. CHRISTY BALARABA TAFIDA, Executive Governor of Delta State, represented by RT HON.BARR. FESTUS OVIE OMO AGAS, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Commissioner of Police Delta State Ari Mohammed Ali and many others.
According to its website, the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation (JOFF) which focused on empowering families that without the capacity to empower themselveshopes to be one of the leading philanthropies in Africa . Watch the video of the event here.
