House on the Rock is a popular multi-ethnic Christian Church headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. The ministry was founded by Pastor Paul Adefarasin in the year 1994.
The prominent church is well known for its annual musical concert named ‘The Experience’, which features local and international gospel musicians and takes place in Nigeria only.
The Rock Cathedral is located in Ikate-Elegushi, Lekki, Lagos and houses the global headquarters of House on the Rock and The Rock Foundation.
Construction of the facility started in 2003, and it now accommodates installations for religious and social programmes, including worship, education, healthcare, community development, reformation training, recreation and social rehabilitation.
The official commissioning of The Rock Cathedral took place on 20 April, 2013 with prominent personalities in attendance, including Goodluck Jonathan and Tony Blair.
Today makes it 8 years that the Glamorous 8,000 seat capacity Rock Cathedral of House on the Rock, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria was dedicated to the glory of God and upliftment of mankind.
Since that day in April 2013, multitudes of souls have been saved, lives delivered from the clutches of the enemy, myriads of healings experienced and many have experienced the change which can only be experienced through worship of God.
Easily one of the most beautiful Houses of worship in Nigeria, the Metropolitan Church not brought spiritual rejuvenation to Lekki, it changed the face of the metropolis and all Christians regardless of denomination have a clear landmark and pointer that Jesus reigns.
Congratulations to the Metropolitan, Pastor Paul and Ifeanyi Adefarasin and all members of House on the Rock Church as well as Christian doom in general. Truly the church is marching on and the hate of hell cannot prevail.
