The former minister for aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said that any Christian who is happy about the All Progressives Congress (APC) Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket can’t be considered a real Christian.
The former minister said this during his appearance on “Politics Today” on Channels Television on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
Fani-Kayode said many Christians are not happy with the same-faith presidential ticket, but that’s not the bigger threat to the country.
The minister said the biggest threat to national unity is power going to the North in 2023. He added that it would be unfair for a northerner to retain power after eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
Fani-Kayode said that Christians have nothing to fear about the same faith presidential ticket, adding that Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima are not bigots.
He said Tinubu returned missionary schools to their owners and gave many churches land during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State.
He added that Shettima built more churches in Borno State than any governor before him.
