Bishop Wisdom Irabor, the Presiding Bishop of Answers Assembly spoke to his members about “Wisdom For Spiritual Warfare” at their Midweek Teaching And Communion Service. He read the book of Ephesians 6:12 which says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” He then explained the six most deadly weapons of Satan and they are:
1. DELAY (Daniel 10: 1-4)
According to him, Satan knows your vision is true, but he will do everything possible to delay you. At this point, you can’t live, and you can’t die. You are just being delayed. The idea is to keep you in one spot for the rest of your life.
2. DECEPTION: (Revelation 12:9)
He said that Satan can deceive an entire family to suspect the wrong person and fighting the wrong person. He can also deceive you to destroy you. He is a deceiver. Sometimes he can speak through his victims to deliver everyone.
3. DISTRACTIONS:
According to him, Satan can make you lose focus and forget the reason for your existence. And also forget that you are on a battlefield. He can distract you to destroy also. He can make you find yourself in the right place at the wrong time. Beware of distro tons when you are in warfare.
4. DISAPPOINTMENT:
You can be disappointed in yourself. He will bring to your mind past guilt and Past mistakes. He can move you from one disappointment to another. You will be disappointed with everything. At this point he makes you feel worthless.
5. DEPRESSION: (Proverbs 18:14)
He said that this is the point where satan will use you to finish you. He can use you to kill you. He can use you to execute you. This is the point where satan gives you a good reason to end it all. But there is no good reason to commit suicide. Your spirit is wounded at this point of warfare. And a wounded spirit who can bear. Never be the reason, why anyone is depressed. Spread hope and not negativity.
6. DEATH: (John 10:10)
The totality of everything you have suffered in his hand is to bring you to the place of death. That is satan’s manifesto, to kill, to steal, and to destroy. But it begins with other D’s and finally, you arrive at this D called death. “But I declare is plan shall not prevail over you,” he prayed.
