Evangelist Mike Bamiloye of Mount Zion Faith Ministries has taken to his verified Facebook page to share a message on the lifestyle of some people in regards to the undevoted approach to their association with the Lord.
In his words, the drama minister has stressed that some people are following the Lord Jesus Christ, like a political party—the moment they do not see what favours them, they back off and join the devil.
The minister has also drawn similar examples from the lives of biblical characters in Judas Iscariot, Samson and Gehazi. Judas bowed to the spirit of covetousness and betrayed Jesus Christ, Samson bowed to immorality and trampled on his anointing while Gehazi bowed to materialism and despised the instructions of his master who carried a double portion of Elijah’s power. All three characters lost their stand before God and failed woefully because they lusted after self-gains and were not devoted to God.
You must be unwavering in your commitment to God. God expects anyone that comes to Him to be selfless and devoted to Him, it is then they would be blessed more than what they expected. Playing a selfish game by switching your allegiance from God to the devil would not only cost you your divine blessings but also, your life and eternity.
