Nigerian scholar and preacher, Dr. Abel Damina, founder and senior pastor of Power City International, revealed in a video uploaded to his verified Facebook account a few minutes ago what happened to the pastor who removed the signboard of his church.
Pastor Damina said, there was a time in his church when somebody removed the signboard of a branch of his church and replaced it with his own. He said he did not fight because he did not own any church himself; the church belonged to Jesus.
He said since it is Jesus’ church, he has Jesus to answer to and that’s why he did not fight. He said what he did was that he went, got another hall in that same city, paid for it, and started fellow shipping with the members that followed them. He said he left the property to him even though they were the ones who bought the land and built it.
He said one month later, government came to the property and claimed it was theirs. They sent them packing and used a bulldozer to bulldoze the building. Pastor Damina said he went to another place and purchased the land. After he paid, government came and claimed the land was theirs and drove him away.
Pastor Damina said he went to one polytechnic and after two weeks they sent him packing, saying they didn’t want a church in the polytechnic. He said that is how the whole church scattered.
He said he came to meet him for forgiveness and that he forgave him and supported him. Then, Pastor
Damina said, “Ministry is grace.” There is a way you can come against grace and you will be disgraced.
