Apostle Joshua Selman, the founder of Eternity Network International spoke to his members about the reasons why people lose. According to Rhema Channel, he revealed that some people lose due to certain reasons which could be personal, general, or divine factors. Here are the 5 reasons:
1. Lack Of Discernment
“Therefore we ought to pay greater attention to the things that were heard, lest perhaps we drift away.” Hebrews 2:1. He said that there are many people who have lost seasons because they cannot discern, there were people who lost the opportunity to receive territorial anointing because they cannot discern.
2. Carelessness
He said that this is the second biblical reason why people lose. An attitude of nonchalant to life, nonchalance to destiny, nonchalance to work. Hebrews 2:3. They take things for granted and have a careless approach to life. There is timing with destiny every time is not the right time.
3. Ignorance Of The Laws Of Life, Destiny, And The Laws Of The Kingdom
The ‘gods’ know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken… Psalms 82:5-7. He said that ignorance is a terrible thing. Many people are ignorant of the ways of God they just leave their life logically and sociologically.
4. Abuse And Misuse
These are the people who have abused power. He said that there are people who have misused money, there are people who are abused and misused the anointing, and there are people who have misused leadership. These abuses could make them lose in life.
5. Test And Trials
He said that sometimes God takes things from you so that tomorrow you will not have any lacking. God does not only give, He also takes away but when He takes away, it really is a spiritual investment because with God it will always come back.
