The General Overseer’s Junior of Living Faith Chapel a.k.a Winners Bishop David Oyedepo Junior on a live-streamed Covenant Hour of Prayer shared a message to the public.
According to him while speaking about spiritual stewardship he read from “Galatians 6:8 which says “For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting.
Speaking further he said “The outcome of spiritual stewardship cannot be compared to any other form of stewardship. And that is why the greatest investment that any man can make is a spiritual investment. Advancing the kingdom of God is the epitome of this spiritual investment.
An investment in spiritual terms (such as love, faith, charity, and humility) requires abandoning a position in highly regarded material assets (like sensuality, pride, greed, and popularity). The cost of spirituality often includes sacrificing cherished physical pleasures.
We may have to forsake the comfort of some of our most valued material securities. We may fear losing business opportunities if we refrain from morally ambiguous practices. But when God is involved in your spiritual investment, he will put a smile on your face.
