This is what separated me from my class mates in WOFBI Bible School – Pastor David Ibiyeomie Reveals

Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of Salvation Ministries spoke to his members on the need to understand and obey the voice of God.

He revealed that he beat all his mates in the Bible school because he had an understanding of the move of God. We were in Bible school in 1996 and they were raising an offering for the first aircraft for evangelism. He said that they were to buy the first aircraft in the church for evangelism as it was a mission by Bishop Oyedepo that the church was to spread to the whole of Africa, so there was a need to get an aircraft.

He revealed that he had the understanding of the move of God, so when the aircraft was to be bought, he knew that was his time to break out of ministerial poverty because it was a sacrifice — a one-time offering. So, he took everything he had and sowed as a seed and God said to him, “You will never begin ministry.”

Speaking further, he revealed that that was the understanding of time. He said that many of his mates in Bible school could not do it so he left them. Having an understanding of time matters a lot. He said that when the church just started, they were having issues with money to get the next property. So God asked him “to sow now into Faith Tabernacle 1999 because they were building that cathedral.” He was told to sow into that cathedral and they will never be under pressure concerning church property.
