The Nigerian gospel singer, Amaka Okwuoha professionally known as Chioma Jesus has revealed what the Lord told her 25 years ago that changed her original name to ‘Chioma Jesus’.
According to her story, her hit song, ‘Chioma’ which was released in 2003 changed her name, and everything about her life. While sharing this story, she cited the case of Abraham and Israel in the Bible; their names were initially Abram and Jacob respectively.
“I will give you a song, that song will take over your name, that song will be everywhere, you will be addressed by the name of your album”, Chioma Jesus revealed.
After the debut album, she went on to release several tracks that also made many people almost forget her initial name, songs such as ‘Bulldozer’, ‘Okemmuo’, ‘Miracle God’, ‘Favour me’ and so on. We learnt from her story that the album, ‘Chioma Jesus’ was a fulfillment of God’s prophecy in her life.
