What happened to the Pastor who said he always use the Church offerings to buy clothes – Pastor Paul Enenche
Dr Pastor Paul Enenche, the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre spoke on “Multitudes Revival” – The Wind And Fire Of Revival at International Ministers Flaming Fire Conference 2022, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Day 3 Evening Session.
While talking about the keys to the multitudes, he advised them to ‘Possess The Heart Of Compassion For The People.’ “Let your heart be empathetic for the people,” he commanded. People are drawn to someone with that kind of heart for others. He added that when you love people, you pull people; “How many of you have ever been around somebody you know that does not like you.” If you don’t have a heart for others, God won’t ever give you people to disciple because God puts what is in your heart into your hands.
He then told the story of what happened to a man who told his members that he uses their offering to buy clothes. He said,
“I saw a man who is very anointed, the last time I travelled to the City where the man is, I asked of him, they said he is still there, I was a student at the University pursuing God when this man was a pastor. I was attending Kenneth Hagin’s camp meeting and he was a key person in Nigeria for that meeting but this man had no heart for people, he will just talk and preach carelessly.”
While talking to his members, the man said,
“All of you are asking me what I do with your money. I used them to buy clothes, I used them to send my children to school. Pastor Paul then said that it is totally wrong. The money of the Church is not his money. He said, “Firstly, it is wrong. Secondly, if you did that, you take the people for granted by telling it to their face like that, everybody left him.”
Finally, according to Pastor Paul, the man said said “I’m not looking for anybody to insult me and I’m not looking for anybody to take me for granted and I’m not going to use my life to service your lifestyle.” Unfortunately, the man is still there stranded, more than 40 years now and no ministry.
